BSB: No. 3 UC San Diego Completes Four Game Sweep Against No. 18 WOU; Defeats Wolves 19-5

The 3rd-ranked UC San Diego baseball team had a season-high 24 hits in a 19-5 win over No. 18 Western Oregon on Monday afternoon at Triton Ballpark. UCSD batted around in both the third and fourth innings, including sending 14 batters to the plate in a nine-run fourth frame. Each UCSD starter had at least two hits, and the starting lineup finished 22-for-38 (.579). Brandon Gregorich, Aaron Bauman and Michael Benton all homered for UCSD. MGLF: UCSD Sits In Seventh Place After Two Rounds At Cal State San Marcos Invite

The UC San Diego men's golf team returned to action on Monday, taking part in the Cal State San Marcos Invitational held at the San Luis Rey Downs Golf Course. The Tritons are currently in seventh place out of 12 teams with a two-round total of 603 and trail leader Holy Names University by 21 strokes entering Tuesday's final round. UCSD opened with a first round score of 304, but came back to shoot a 299 in round two to conclude the day at 27-over par.
