Tritons Hit 10 Threes In 75-43 Drubbing of Cal State L.A.

Chelsea Carlisle scored a game-high 19 points and Tiffany Hunter finished with 11, guiding the eighth-ranked UC San Diego women's basketball team to a convincing 75-43 triumph over visiting Cal State L.A. on Saturday night at RIMAC Arena. The Tritons put together an impressive 28-0 run spanning both periods to down the Golden Eagles and win their fifth straight. UCSD's offense struggled early against a zone defense from CSULA, but the Tritons found their mark, connecting on a season-high 10 three-pointers and shooting better than 46% from the field to sweep the season series. No. 8 UCSD Blows Past Cal State Dominguez Hills, 83-57

Daisy Feder scored a career-high 19 points and Chelsea Carlisle finished with 17 as the eighth-ranked UC San Diego women's basketball team ran all over Cal State Dominguez Hills in an 83-57 victory on Thursday night at RIMAC Arena. The Tritons outscored the Toros 28-12 over the final 12 minutes of the first half and cruised to their fourth straight win. UCSD turned in a balanced effort on both sides of the ball, shooting 50% from the field offensively, while holding CSUDH to just 38% on the other end. The Tritons' record now stands at 18-1 overall and 13-1 in CCAA play. UCSD continued its dominance at home this season, recording its 11th consecutive victory against no losses. || CONTINUE
