Van Arsdale Retires, Tritons Hire Nate Garcia as New Head Coach for Cross Country
Nate Garcia was named the UCSD men's and women's cross country head coach on Tuesday.

UC San Diego Director of Athletics Earl W. Edwards announced Tuesday afternoon that Nate Garcia has been hired as the new men's and women's cross country head coach for the 2007 season. He replaces Ted Van Arsdale who announced his retirement from coaching earlier this morning after spending the last 15 years as the head coach of the Triton cross country programs.
