AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011: Competed in four races in his second year of competition ... Was UCSD's fourth finisher and seventh overall in the UC San Diego Opener (22:14.9) ... Gave a respectable 26th-place performance in the Asics/UC Irvine Invitational (25:59) ... Finished 69th in Runners Soul Erik Anderson Invitational (26:22.327) ... Concluded the season at CCAA Championships, clocking in at 27:38 to finish 36th.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010: Ran in five events in his first season with the Tritons ... Finished seventh overall in UCSD's season opener with a time of 22:52.2 on the four-mile course ... Best finish of the year came at the SDSU Aztec Invitational when he clocked in at 28:05.8 in the open run to finish in second place overall ... Finished eighth at the Bronco Preview Meet with a time of 26:20.2.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2009 graduate of Oakland High School, where he competed in both cross country and track and field ... Owns a personal best of 16:38 in the 5k ... On the track he set personal records of 2:06 in the 800, 4:36 in the 1,600, and 10:02 in the 3,200.
