NCAA Championship All-Tournament Team ... CCAA Spring All-Academic ... Appeared in 30 games with 22 starts behind the plate ... Put together an incredible NCAA Championship in Grand Prairie, Texas, coming off the bench during first elimination game vs. Quincy (5/30) ... Started last four games of tournament as UCSD advanced to finals after dropping its opener, and finished 5-for-14 (.357) with five runs scored, three RBI, six walks, his lone steal, one sacrifice bunt, a sacrifice fly and .524 on-base percentage ... Went 3-for-4 with three runs, a walk and steal in fourth elimination game vs. St. Thomas Aquinas (6/3) to put Tritons into finals, posting career highs in hits and runs while handling all 11 defensive chances cleanly ... Made college debut in nightcap of twin bill vs. The Master's (2/6) on Opening Day, earning the start behind the plate and throwing out his first would-be base-stealer with a dart to second baseman Vince Mori to end the sixth ... Posted one multiple-hit game, going 2-for-4 with two walks, first career extra-base hit in the form of a double, two runs scored and an RBI to open doubleheader at Cal State San Bernardino (2/27) ... Went 1-for-3 with two walks, two runs and an RBI vs. Stanislaus State (4/2) ... Season-high three walks at Chico State (3/26).
