AS A SENIOR IN 2010: All-CCAA Second Team honoree... Started 16 of the 17 matches in which he appeared at forward, logging 1,127 total minutes... Tied for second on the team with 31 total shots... Led the team with two game-winning goals... Scored the game winner in a 1-0 victory against Cal State Monterey Bay on September 24... His goal in a 2-0 win over Cal State Stanislaus on October 17 was also a game-winner.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Put together a breakout season in 2009 as he led the Tritons in points with 11 on four goals and three assists... Appeared in all 20 of UCSD’s matches while starting 18 times... His late-game heroics lifted the Tritons to a 2-1 overtime victory on Sept. 4 against Notre Dame de Namur... Scored in the 88th and 100th minutes to rally the Tritons for the comeback victory on that day... Ended the school year on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll at the Silver Level (includes GPAs from 3.300-3.499).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Earned the starting nod in each of UCSD’s 18 matches... Scored a goal in the season opener, a 2-0 home victory against Hawaii Hilo... Concluded the school year on the Athletic Diector’s Honor Roll at the Bronze Level (includes GPAs from 3.00-3.299).

AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN IN 2007: Started in all 17 of UCSD’s contests... His first career goal came on Sept. 7 and helped the Tritons secure a comeback 2-1 road victory over CSUSB... Finished the school year on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll at the Bronze Level.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Did not register any playing time in 2006.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Mission Viejo High School… Played soccer for coach Roger Castle… Helped team to the 2006 South Coast League Title with an 8-1-2 record… Was named team and league MVP as a senior after scoring nine goals.

PERSONAL: Born March 22, 1988... Father is Curtis Gardner and mother is Wendy Micheil… Has four siblings named Glenn, Adam, Alexa and Vanessa… Is a Political Science major at Sixth College… Enjoys hanging out with friends, going to movies and listening to music in his spare time...
