2009: Did not compete for the Tritons last season.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Competed in three events on the year... Highest finish came during season opener against Point Loma when he placed ninth overall with a time of 23:20.5… Finished 33rd at the Cal State San Bernardino Invite, clocking in at 28:45.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007: Appeared in five meets during his first season in the blue and gold... Finished 13th overall in his first event as a Triton, posting a time of 23:45.5 in the Point Loma Nazarene dual meet Aug. 25... Crossed the finish line 137th overall and 15th among Tritons at the UC Irvine Invitational, registering in at 28:05.90... Finished with a mark of 36:01.4 at the Triton Classic, good enough for 45th place... Placed in the same spot at the CCAA Championships two weeks later, crossing the line at 27:21.30 to help propel UCSD to the NCAA West Regionals.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Loyola High School in Los Angeles, where he was a two-time first team all-league selection... Participated in cross country and track under coach Lalo Diaz... Helped team to sixth place finish at state meet during junior year... Team invited to Nike Team Nationals during senior year... Named team captain and first team All-League... Recorded statistical bests of 4:36 in the 1600, 9:59 in the 3200, and 15:35 in the three-mile cross-country course.

PERSONAL: Born September 21, 1989... Parents are Michael and Christine French... Both parents attended Cal State Fullerton... Has one younger sister named Kathryn... Is a Literature/Writing major and Economics minor in John Muir College... Hobbies include rollerblading, digging holes at the beach, gardening, and exploring unknown territories… Roots for the Los Angeles Angels.
