AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Ran in five events on the season... Came on strong at the end of the year, scoring in each of the Tritons' final three races… Finished 14th overall at the Bronco Preview Meet after clocking in at 23:27.0… Came back to finish third on the squad and 36th overall with a time of 23:37.2 at the CCAA Championships on the same course two weeks later… Was the second Triton to cross the finish line at the NCAA West Regional Championships in Bellingham, Wash.… Placed 62nd overall with a time of 24:49.2.… Was named the team's Most Improved runner at the end of the season.  

2009: Redshirted her second season with the Tritons.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: Made five appearances during her rookie campaign at UCSD… Finished 10th overall in the Open at the SDSU Aztec Invitational, crossing the line with a time of 19:48… Took 13th place at the CSUSB Coyotes Invite with a final time of 24:04… Her mark of 23:52.6 was good enough for 29th place individually at the CCAA Championships.

A 2008 graduate of El Modena High School in Orange, Calif.… Was a two-time Team MVP on the cross country squad… Led EMHS to the state championships twice during her time there… Holds personal records of 18:01 in the 5k, 64.8 in the 400m, 2:20 in the 800m, and 5:11 in the 1600m.  

PERSONAL: Born December 6, 1989… Parents are Chris and Donna Hisgen… Has a younger brother named Hunter… Spends her spare time cooking, reading or hanging out with friends at the beach… The L.A. Lakers are her favorite team and star Pau Gasol is one of her heros… Is also a fan of distance runner Kara Goucher… Enjoys listening to Wolf Parade… Can't live without her vanilla latte and coffee cake… Is a Physiology and Neuroscience major in Warren College… Aspires to work as a physical therapist in the future.
