Competed in two events at the CCAA Championships ... Threw a season-best distance of 38'3.25" in the women's shot put at the CCAA Championships to place 10th overall and third in her heat ... Also finished in 10th place and sixth in her heat in the discus throw upon throwing a distance of 126'0" ... Placed first overall in the discus throw at the Soka Peace Invitational, throwing a top distance of 140'7" ... Won the discus in the season opener against Cal Poly Pomona and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (136'9").

Completed the shot put in third place (37'10.5") and discus in fifth (123'0") during the Rossi Relays ... At the San Diego Collegiate Challenge, finished third in the shot put (38'6.75") and third in discus (142'0") with her mark in the discus ranking 10th all-time in UCSD history for that event ... Finished eighth in the shot put (35'10.5") and fourth in discus (138'2") during the All-Cal Challenge ... During the Mangrum Invitational, placed third in both shot put (38'7.5") and discus (133'1") ... Placed second in shot put (37'3.25") and discus (137'4") at the Soka Peace Invitational ... At the CCAA Championships, finished the discus event in fifth place with a mark of 134'0" and concluded the shot put in 12th place with a mark of 38'0.75".

Competed in the shot put and discus at the CCAA Championships, posting marks of 35'9" and 115'6" respectively and finishing just outside the top 10 in both events... Took third place in the shot put and seventh in the discus during the San Diego Collegiate Championships... Finished in sixth place at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational in the shot put with a toss of 37'11"... Recorded a mark of 118'0" in the discus during the Triton Invitational.

A 2009 graduate of Millikan High School in Long Beach ... Placed 20th in the discus at the 2008 California CIF SS Division I Prelims - Southern Section, throwing a distance of 111'5" ... Won the shot put and discus at the Moore League Prelims & Finals with then-personal-best marks of 35'9.5" and 114'3", respectively, as a junior (2008).
