LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Stephanie Heinrich of the UC San Diego women's water polo team was named the Western Water Polo Association Player of the Week for March 10. Heinrich led the Tritons to their second consecutive win by scoring four goals with an assist and two ejections in a 10-5 win over Santa Clara. Heinrich leads UCSD with 42 ejections drawn and is second on the team with 23 goals. UCSD heads to the Aztec Invitational this weekend on the San Diego State campus.

On Saturday, the Tritons face Wagner (7-8) at 8:00 a.m. and Maryland (8-5) at 1:00 p.m. On Sunday, UCSD will square off against No. 18 Princeton (7-3) at 8:00 a.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. match-up against Marist (4-7). UCSD has only faced Marist this season, an 8-4 win at the Triton Invitational on February 6. This will be UCSD's last time in action before taking a week off for final exams. The Tritons return to Canyonview to face Hawaii at 6:00 p.m. on March 25.
