WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Samantha Yeung of the No. 15 UC San Diego women's tennis  team has been named the Penn/California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week for the week of March 29 to April 4, conference officials announced Monday.

Yeung, a sophomore out of Calabasas, Calif., continues to pile up wins on the singles ladder for the Tritons.

She collected two victories this past week over conference foes, knocking off Cal Poly Pomona's Kaitlin Wooldridge on the road in three sets before taking down Cal St. San Bernardino's Brittany Choate at home in straight sets.
