Member of 2012-13 UC San Diego Athletics All-Academic Team … Contended in UCSD’s first five meets of the season … Finished eighth among Tritons and 28th overall at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Championships, where the clock showed a time of 26:56.5 to end his season … Had back-to-back finishes as the second displacer for UCSD, including a 35th-place showing at the adidas/UC Irvine Invitational (26:27.5) and a season-best, 11th-place effort at the Lancer Invitational (26:11) … Took 22nd place at the 20th Annual Triton Invitational, crossing the finish line in 27:15.1 … Entered the season with a 12th-place finish at the UCSD Opener (22:40.8) ... Set team's Academic Standard.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011
Improved in performances throughout the 2011 season in which he competed in six meets and scored for the Tritons in the last three meets of the season ... Turned in a 67th-place finish at the Runners Soul Erik Anderson Invitational, crossing the line at 26:18.867 ... Factored into score as Tritons' fourth finisher in Triton Classic Invitational (33:28.5, 9th) ... Punched ticket to postseason with 21st-place finish at CCAA Championships (26:47.6) ... Capped off the UCSD team score at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championships, placing 70th overall (33:46).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010
Ran in six events during his rookie campaign with the Tritons ... Finished 15th overall in UCSD's season opener with a time of 23:15.1 ... Best finish came at the SDSU Aztec Invitational when he clocked in at 28:11.1 for third place overall in the open run ... Was a scorer for the Tritons at the Bronco Preview Meet after finishing seventh overall with a time of 26:14.2.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2010 graduate of Washington High School in Fremont ... Led his squad to three straight MVAL Championships and to second place North Coast Section finish in 2008 ... Posted a cross country personal best of 15:55 in the 5k at Woodward Park ... Also competed in track and field at WHS, recording times of 2:02 in the 800, 4:26 in the 1600, and 9:30 in the 3200.
