Contended for UC San Diego in the men's triple jump at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships ... Finished fifth in his heat and ninth overall in the triple jump after leaping 45'3.75" at the CCAA Championships ... Claimed first place at the Soka Peace Invitational in the triple jump, leaping a personal-record span of 46'2", the seventh-longest leap in school history for that event ... Took third place overall in the triple jump at the UCSD Triton Invitational upon landing a jump of 44'3.25" ... Finished 11th in the triple jump at the Mangrum Invitational, where he hit the ground with a leap of 38'0.75" ... Ran the 200-meter dash at the Point Loma Collegiate Open, where he turned in a personal-best time of 24.81 seconds for a 22nd-place finish.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Posted numbers in two events at the Rossi Relays, ninth in the high jump (5'10") and fourth in the triple jump (43'5") ... Took sixth in the high jump (5'9") at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge, where he also took second for his triple jump (44'8") ... At the All-Cal Challenge, came in fourth for his high jump (5'7") and fourth in the triple jump (44') ... Also competed in triple jump at the Cal-Nevada Championships, where he recorded a final mark of 43'2" ... Took seventh at the Soka Peace Invitational with a high jump mark of 5'7.75" ... Also took fifth in the triple jump (44') at the same meet ... At the Triton Invitational, came in seventh place in triple jump with a final mark of 45'2" ... During the CCAA Championships, recorded the 11th and fifth-place spots in the high jump (5'11") and triple jump (46'), respectively.
