AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: Competed in the Rossi Relays where he finished the 110m hurdles event in 15th place (16.80), the long jump event in 31st place (5.47), and 22nd in the discus event (36.04) ... Took ninth in discus (33.39) and fourth in javelin (49.09) during the San Diego Collegiate Challenge ... At the All-Cal Challenge, he came in fourth place with a final mark of 4.10 in the pole vault event and third in javelin with a mark of 43.66 ... Competed at the CCAA Championships Decath, finishing ninth in the 100m (12.48), fifth in long jump (5.83), second in shot put (12.08), fifth in high jump (1.72), and seventh in the 400m event (55.24) ... Other events competed in at the CCAA Championships include 1500m (5:03.08), 110m hurdles (16.06), pole valut (3.79), discus (35.72), and javelin (49.05) ... Overall finished sixth in Decath. 

UC SANTA BARBARA: Competed for two seasons on the UCSB track and field team before transferring to UCSD. 

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif... Was honored as the team captain and was a league champion in both 110mHH and 300mH... His 2007 team also won the league championship... Recorded a statistical best of 15.2 sec in the 100mHH.

PERSONAL: Born January 19, 1989... Parents are Gary and Jody DeBeaubien... Human Biology major in Marshall College... Favorite movie is the Moulin Rouge... His favorite athlete is Usain Bolt and his most memorable moment is Usain Bolt's world record 100 meter run in the Beijing Olympics... Nick has two older siblings Danielle, 26 and Damian, 30... Swimming, running, movies and going to the beach are his hobbies... His career goal is to be a physician.
