MEN'S CREW ENDS 2011 CAMPAIGN AT IRA REGATTA

(IRA) Championships on Cooper Lake...The Tritons placed 18th in the varsity eight and 15th in the junior varsity eight, both divisions won by University of Washington...The best UCSD performance was turned in by the Novice Eight which claimed 12th place...UC Berkeley captured the novice crown...Just making it into the IRA field was a major accomplishment as the Tritons were the only non-Division I program invited to the prestigious regatta which serves as the de facto national championship.
