Competed in all six meets for UC San Diego … Finished sixth among Tritons and 135th overall with a time of 25:34.00 at the NCAA Division II West Regional Championship in Kahuku, Hawaii … Was the No. 7 Triton and 44th-place finisher at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Cross Country Championships, held at UCSD (23:44.9) … Placed as high as 14th overall in a memorable come-from-behind performance at the Lancer Invitational as the No. 5 scorer, passing Cal Baptist’s sixth and seventh finishers in the final stretch to secure UCSD’s first-place showing as a team (19:19) … Took fourth among the UCSD women at the adidas/UC Irvine Invitational (19:30.4, 71st) … Contended in the 20th Annual Triton Invitational, where she clocked in at 24:02.4 and settled for 46th place overall … Began the season as the last scorer for the Tritons with a 16th-place showing at the UCSD Opener (16:15.1).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Placed third among the Tritons in the last five events she competed, including CCAA Championships (22:08.8) and NCAA West Regional Championships (22:57) ... Finished 18th and 43rd overall, respectively, in those final two races ... First No. 3 finish for UCSD occurred at Asics/UC Irvine Invitational (18:53, 39th) ... Had remarkable first race in UC San Diego Opener, finishing ninth overall (16:06.2) ... Voted team's Most Valuable Racer at season's end.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2011 graduate of Trabuco Hills High School in Mission Viejo ... Was a standout on both the cross country and track and field teams ... Led the Mustangs to a second place finish at the South Coast League Championships after placing in the top-20 overall as a senior ... Went on to post a top-20 finish at the CIF Southern Section D-I Finals, as well, and earned a spot on the All-Orange County Team with her performance ...
