Represented UC San Diego in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Track & Field Championships, matching his season-high finish of sixth place in that event with a time of 9:52.6 ... Ran a personal-best time of 9:46.42 in the 3,000 steeple at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, taking 10th place overall ... Also finished sixth in the 3,000 steeple at the All-Cal Challenge (10:23.19) and earned an 18th-place showing at the Cal-Nevada Championships (10:09.87) ... Finished as high as fifth in the 1,500 while winning his heat at the UCSD Triton Invitational with a season-best time of 4:00.78 ... Settled for sixth place in the 1,500 at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge (4:10.82) ... Opened season with sole appearance in the 3,000, clocking in at 9:01.12 to place sixth overall.

Ran a personal-best time of 4:20.13 in the 1,600 at the North Coast Section (NCS) Meet of Champions Finals, where he finished eighth place overall to match his finishing position at the NCS Meet of Champions Trials (4:20.32) from the day before during his senior year (2011) ... Won the 1,600 at the North Bay League Finals (4:24.30) as a senior (2011) ... Placed seventh overall in his personal-record run in the 800 at the 2011 Viking Classic (1:58.92) ...
