Finished third in the javelin (180'8"), fourth in the 110 hurdles (15.28), fifth in the pole vault (15'7.25"), fifth in the discus (139'11"), fifth in the high jump (6'4.75") and 12th in the long jump (20'2.25") at the CCAA Championships (4/30-5/2), scoring 21 points for UCSD ... Grabbed a provisional qualifier at the California Invitational in the decathlon, scoring 6881 points ... Ran 15.12 in the 110 hurdles at the California Collegiate Invitational (4/4) ... USTFCCCA All-Region (pole vault, decathlon) ... UCSDtritons.com Athlete of the Week (4/21) ... Won the high jump at the All-Cal Championships (3/8) ... Made his collegiate decathlon debut at the California Invitational in Azusa (4/16-17), winning the "B" flight over 14 opponents and already achieving an NCAA provisional qualifier with a score of 6720 points ... Mark was good enough to move him up into the No. 3 position all-time at UCSD ... Won the decathlon at the CCAA Championships (5/1-2) with a score of 6898 points, setting a new Triton Track & Field Stadium record ... Mark moved him up to No. 2 all-time at UCSD ... A 2012 graduate of Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach ... Earned personal bests in all four of his events during his final season with the Mustangs ... Won the high jump at the Bay League meet with a personal-record mark of 6'6.25" ... Placed sixth (6'2") and fifth (6'3") in the high jump, respectively, at the CIF-Southern Section Division II Prelims and CIF-SS D-II Finals as a senior (2012) ... Also hit personal bests in both the triple jump and long jump at the Bay League meet, reaching a career-best 44'0.5" to finish second in the triple jump and a distance of 21'1" to take third in the long jump ... Settled for 16th overall (42'8.5") at the CIF-SS D-II Prelims in the triple jump as a senior (2012) ... Took first place in his career-best performance in the pole vault, successfully clearing 14'9" at the Junior Olympics Association Championships before finishing 20th overall (14'5.25") at the Junior Olympic National Championships during the summer of 2012 ... League champion in the pole vault, clearing a height of 13'10" as a senior (2012) ... Competed in the pole vault at the CIF-SS D-II Prelims, where he finished 13th (12'3") prior to jumping eight spots for a fifth-place showing at the CIF-SS D-II Finals (14'3").
