Tossed complete-game shutout (6 H, 4 BB, 4 SO) in spot start to win super regional ... Pat Doyle Award in 2013, compiling a 1.42 ERA over 31.2 innings ... Managed just 11.1 frames coming off of injury in 2012.

Recovered from late-season surgery in time to represent his native country of Israel during the 2014 summer, at the European Baseball Championship C-Pool tournament in Ljubljana, Slovenia, July 29-Aug. 2 ... Made one appearance, drawing the starting assignment in the final vs. host Slovenia (8/2) and tossing a seven-inning shutout in a run-rule-shortened, 14-0 victory ... Allowed just one hit and one walk in facing one batter over the minimum, while striking out nine (box score) ... Retired 16 straight after a double to open the game ...
