LA JOLLA, Calif. - Four rowers from the University of California San Diego have earned All-Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) recognition as the organization recently announced its selections.

From the women's team, Shruti Kamath and Catherine Mosher were named second team All-WIRA. Kamath is a senior cognitive science major from Fremont, while Mosher is a sophomore political science major hailing from Los Gatos.

On the men's side, Robert Faris and Gabriel Lane were also tabbed second team All-WIRA. Faris is a senior physics major from Menlo Park. Lane, from Philadelphia, is a sophomore aerospace engineering major.

It is the first time all four have been awarded All-WIRA status.
