Sophomore Lauren Brown threw the first three innings, giving up three runs and two walks. The Toros’ Jade Loe (3-13) earned the loss after allowing five earned runs, four walks and five hits.

GAME TWO
UCSD used five runs in the bottom of the third inning to break open the lead and ultimately seal the 8-2 triumph.

In the second inning, UCSD took over the lead, scoring two runs after junior Kendall Woken had an RBI double followed by an RBI single from Kazakoff.

Five runs in the third inning sealed the series finale victory for the Tritons.
