LA JOLLA, Calif. - Amber Harris of the University of California San Diego women's rowing team has been named to the All-Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association (WIRA) Second Team as the league announced its honorees Wednesday.

A senior from Reno, Nev., Harris is a Communication major in UC San Diego's Warren College.

UCSD, ranked seventh nationally, competes at the NCAA Division II National Championships, May 26-28 on Mercer Lake in West Windsor, N.J. The Tritons will field Varsity 8 and Varsity 4 boats.
