League-wide, 318 student-athletes were tabbed 2017 CCAA Spring All-Academic. UCSD's 39 honorees topped the 13-member contingent, just edging out Chico State's 38. Cal State San Marcos rounded out the top three with 29 picks.

It is the second-straight year that UC San Diego has led the CCAA in Spring All-Academic selections.

Also in 2016-17, UC San Diego had 33 student-athletes named CCAA Fall All-Academic as well as nine Winter All-Academic honorees, bringing the institution's yearly total to 81.
