LA JOLLA, Calif. - Due to anticipated inclement weather on Saturday, March 10, the four-game series between No. 25 University of California San Diego and Cal State East Bay has been moved up to a primetime Thursday, March 8, start in La Jolla.

The first game of the series is slated for Thursday, and will begin at 8:15 p.m at UC San Diego's Triton Softball Field. Games two and three will still take place with a doubleheader on Friday, with the first game of the twin bill to start at 1 p.m. The fourth and final game of the series will try to be played on Saturday at 11 a.m., weather pending. Admission is free to all Triton home games.

The Tritons are off to an impressive 15-4 start and are riding a six-game win streak at the moment. Following a two-game sweep of Azusa Pacific last Thursday, UC San Diego jumped its way back into the top 25 this week. Freshman pitcher Robyn Wampler threw 12.1 scoreless innings against the Cougars, and improved her record to 12-2 on the season.

Meanwhile, Cal State East Bay is 9-13 on the year.

All four games of this series can be followed with live stats. All games except the doubleheader nightcap on Friday, should be available in high definition on UCSDtritons.tv.
