Briana Galvez was hired at UC San Diego as a Marketing Assistant in September of 2018.
Galvez joined the Tritons after spending five months with the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) as a Guest Experience Representative.
Her duties included customer service and welcoming all guests and visitors to Banc of California Stadium.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in business administration from Northern Arizona in May of 2018, and while pursuing her degree, also worked as a marketing intern for the athletics department for two years.
Galvez handled all marketing and promotional operations for all football and soccer games, in addition to volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball.
She also handled event management for tailgates and NAU athletic events. In addition, Galvez, represented the NAU athletic department in all new student and athlete orientations, and oversaw all marketing aspects.
Galvez transferred to NAU from Cal State Monterey Bay, where she was a three-time (2012-14) member of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team for women’s soccer.
