LA JOLLA, Calif. - The No. 18 University of California San Diego women's tennis team's home match on Thursday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. in La Jolla against 21st-ranked crosstown rival Point Loma Nazarene University has been postponed due to expected rain.

The key NCAA Division II West Region matchup will now attempt to be played the following Wednesday, Feb. 20, still at 2 p.m. at Northview Tennis Courts on North Campus.

The Tritons, looking for their first win of 2019 at 0-3, edged out the Sea Lions for the West's fourth and final spot in the 2018 NCAA Championship. Point Loma is 2-1 on the young season.

If the weather cooperates, UC San Diego hopes to continue a season-long seven-match homestand that will keep the Tritons in La Jolla through the entire month, this Saturday, Feb. 16, against Redlands, ranked No. 26 in Division III. The action gets underway at 11 a.m. with doubles. Parking and admission are free at Northview Tennis Courts.
