LA JOLLA, Calif. - The University of California San Diego men's tennis program has canceled its match against Division I Saint Mary's College on Saturday, March 2. The contest had just been officially added for 3 p.m., on Friday afternoon, as the Tritons have lost a couple of prior dates with other opponents due to adverse weather. It will not be made up.

All five pairs that UC San Diego entered into the 130th Annual Pacific Coast Doubles Championship at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club, were eliminated on Friday. Redshirt freshman Zach Ermert (Carlsbad/La Costa Canyon HS) and senior Richard Han won two matches before exiting the tournament. Draws and results for that event can be found here. A full recap will be posted to by the end of the day Monday at the latest.

Otherwise, the Tritons (3-6) are scheduled to host another Division I foe in Ball State on Monday, March 4, continuing a nine-match homestand at 3 p.m. at Northview Tennis Courts on North Campus in La Jolla. Admission is free, but parking permits are required.
