It was another collegiate first in the second half, as fellow freshman Cory Daley gave the Tritons a 4-0 lead with his goal.

With just 10 seconds left in the match, Lucas Tager helped seal the victory with UC San Diego’s fifth and final goal. Jota Yamaguchi earned an assist.

The Triton defense excelled, holding Concordia to nine shots throughout the contest. In the net, Pedro Enciso picked up a pair of saves during the shutout.
