AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: His fourth place time of 32:08.88 in the 10000 was the highlight performance for the Tritons distance squad at the Cal/Nevada Track and Field Championships ... Came in at 11th place at the Rossi Relays in the 3000 with a time of 9:04.18 ... Also helped the Tritons to a top ten finish in the 3000 at the All-Cal Challenge with a time of 9:02.03 ... Ran in the 5000, finishing 15th (15:31.858) at the Triton Invitational.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010: Finished the 3000 in 8:56.09 for eighth place during the first meet of the season... Placed just out of the top 10 in the 5000 with a time of 15:45.10 at the Triton Invitational... His time of 4:15.44 in the 1500 was good for tenth place during the San Diego Collegiate Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009: At the Cal/Nevada Championship, placed 13th in the 10000 event… Time of 16:05.15 placed just outside top ten in 5000 event during Long Beach Invitational… Finished seventh during 3000 as part of quad meet with Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Dominguez Hills, and San Diego State.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate of Brea Olinda High School in Brea, CA... Was a 3-time 1st Team All-League in cross-country from 2005-2007, leading team to League Championships over the same period... Recorded personal bests of 4:37 in the 1600M, 9:56 in the 3200M and 15:36 in the 3-mile distance.


PERSONAL: Born on July 5, 1990... Parents are Jonathan and Lori Svet... Has one younger sibling named Mark... Majoring in Structural Engineering at Warren College... Hobbies include running, playing soccer and basketball.
