As a Junior in 2008: Played in 14 games, including two starts... led the Tritons with five assists and finished fourth on the squad in points, with seven... tallied a goal off the bench in the final match of the season, a 4-0 victory at home against Cal Poly Pomona.

As a Sophomore in 2007: Started and played in 16 of UCSD's 17 contests in 2007, finishing second on the team in points with nine... scored the game-winning goal in second overtime during a 2-1 thriller at home against Chico State... his other two goals came in a 2-1 road loss against No. 21 Sonoma State and 1-1 tie versus Cal State Stanislaus at home on Oct. 21.

As a Freshman in 2006: Appeared in all 19 of UCSD's matches in 2006, making the starting lineup on 16 occasions... was named the 2006 CCAA Freshman of the Year and earned Second Team All-CCAA honors... finished second on the team in scoring with his 12 points coming by way of four goals and four assists... scored the game-winning goal in the 1-0 double overtime victory at home over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 12.

High School: A 2006 graduate of Jesuit High School in Carmichael, Calif... helped team to a No. 1 national ranking by the NSCAA and a CIF-San Joaquin Section Division I Championship in 2003... was a member of the Cal North ‘88 Boys State ODP team.

Personal: Born Sept. 24, 1988... parents are Sooho and Seunghi Choi... has a younger sister named Amy... is a Physiology and Neuroscience major and Psychology minor in Revelle College... enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the movies and listening to music in his spare time... aspires to go to medical school and study orthopedics.
