LAS VEGAS, Nev. ? The UC San Diego men's and women's diving teams competed at the University of Nevada Las Vegas Winter Invitational from December 16-18 on the UNLV campus. The Tritons, competing with only their diving teams finished with the men's team scoring 62 points and the women's squad earning 26 points.

Andrew Skewes led the men's team with an 8th-place finish, while Jeff Bryant finished 10th. Daniel Gordh and Aaron Cantu finished just out of the top-10. The divers on the women's squad consisted of Corinne Hieatt, Amanda Mason, Nicole Stasio, Jennifer Lappe and Danielle Niculescu.

The UCSD men's and women's swimming and diving teams are back in action on Friday, January 5th against Utah and Air Force. The meet will take place at 2:00 p.m. at Canyonview Pool on the Triton campus.
