SOCCER AND BURRITOS: Women's soccer members Laura Gordon and Casey Parisi, along with Adam Zernik and Jacob Valadez from the men's team, will be serving up California burritos at Café Ventanas from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 27 as a part of Taste of the Tritons.

FREE POSTERS! Fans in attendance at this Friday's doubleheader against Cal State Dominguez Hills will get a free team poster upon entry, courtesy of UCSD Dining Services and Triton Athletics.

HOME SWEET HOME: Although their record doesn't show signs of it, the Tritons return home after their longest swing away from La Jolla this season. UCSD is 4-0 on the road and 3-0 at Triton Soccer Field this year. The Tritons have posted a 25-6 record in home contests over the past three years.

WHEN WE LAST MET CAL STATE DOMINGUEZ HILLS: 2012 graduate Courtney Capobianco found the net in the 89th minute to send the team to a hard-fought 1-0 victory over visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills in a CCAA South matchup on Oct. 16, 2011. Capobianco's goal ended a scoring drought that spanned the Tritons' previous three games.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH THE TOROS: With last season's sweep over CSUDH, the Tritons improved to 20-16-4 all-time against the Toros.

ALL-TIME SERIES WITH CAL STATE SAN BERNARDINO: UC San Diego boasts a 30-4-5 overall record against the Coyotes, including a double overtime win earlier this month.

WHEN WE LAST MET THE COYOTES: UCSD started its longest road trip of the season at the Premier Field. The Tritons' 1-0 victory over the Coyotes came from Cassie Callahan's goal in double overtime. Callahan buried a shot to the right side of the Coyote's keeper at the 100:49 mark, her third goal of the season. Alexa Enlow assisted on the play.

MOVING UP, AGAIN: UC San Diego continues to climb the list of rankings in the NSCAA National Top 25 Poll. Last week, the Tritons entered the single digits, receiving the No. 9 slot among Division II programs. The women's squad continues to rise as it enters this weekend's competition at No. 5, the highest-rank in the CCAA.
