As a Sophomore in 2009: Earned the starting nod in 31 games as a sophomore while appearing in 44 contests... Finished third on the team in hitting with a .305 average, collecting 25 hits in 82 at bats... Stole eight bases in 10 attempts as a threat on the basepaths... Entered 10 games as a pinch runner... Starred in the final series of the regular season on the road against Cal State Monterey Bay, collecting five hits in 10 at bats across the four games... Ended the season as the only non-pitcher to tally a fielding percentage of 1.000, recording 20 putouts and two assists without committing an error... Batted .333 in two-out situations.
As a Freshman in 2008: Made 49 starts in her first year as a Triton... Hit .257 on the year with 20 runs scored and seven RBI... Went 4-for-4 with two runs and two stolen bases against the University of San Diego on Feb. 20... Stole 10 bases in 12 attempts... Had a .935 fielding percentage, making only two errors with 29 putouts.
High School: A 2007 graduate of Oak Grove High School in San Jose, Calif... Helped varsity softball team to the Blossom Valley Athletic League Championship in 2005 and again in 2007... Was a two-time participant in the Central Coast Section playoffs... Named the BVAL Senior Athlete of the Year in 2007 and earned all-league honors as a sophomore and as a junior... Played club softball for the Sorcerers from 2005-07... Also lettered in soccer while at OGHS.
