AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Recorded 82 hits as a sophomore, earning All-Conference and first-team ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region honors... also earned a All-West Region Gold Glove award, for his defense in the outfield and third base... had 24 multi-hit games and led the Tritons with 15 multi-RBI games... had a season-high 12 game hitting streak.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: Finished second on the team with 77 hits... saw action in the outfield, third base and first base... had a six-hit game against San Francisco State on April 25... hit .372 for the year... led the Tritons with 27 multi-hit games and had a season-high 16 game hitting streak.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mira Mesa HS... baseball team went 23-8, earning a spot in the D-I semifinals... finished seventh in the county and 47th in the state... named First-Team All-Eastern League and Eastern League Co-MVP... hit .386 with 41 hits, 33 RBI, 12 doubles and three homeruns... pitching statistics included a 6-1 record, 2.14 ERA, 29 innings pitched with 20 strikeouts and two walks.
