AS A JUNIOR IN 2009: Finished second on the team with eight wins despite missing a month of action after taking a line-drive to the head... earned All-CCAA First-Team honors, ABCA/Rawlings All-West Region, NCBWA All-West Region and Daktronics All-West Region honors... pitched at least six innings in 9-of-12 starts... Earned CCAA Pitcher of the Week honors for April 13-19... struck out 10 hitters in six innings at Grand Canyon on April 10... finished the year with a 2.95 ERA in 82.1 innings pitched... held opponents to a team-low .228 batting average.

AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2008: Led UCSD with 10 wins and two complete games... pitched a one-hitter through seven innings in a season opening win against Western Oregon... pitched a complete-game against Nebraska-Kearney, striking out nine in the NCAA West Regional game.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Claremont HS in Claremont, Calif.... played one year of basketball and three years of varsity baseball... baseball team advanced to the semi-finals of CIF and won the Baseline League title in his senior season... earned all-league honors for three season... named All-Inland Valley and All-Academic Team... pitched in the Inland Valley All Star team... also participated on the Southern California Shockers.

PERSONAL: Born December 7, 1986... parents are Richard and Lauren Rossman... father graduated from UC Davis and Duke, while mother is a Cal State Northridge and UCLA graduate... parents are Physical Therapists... has two brothers named Ricky and Keith... his uncle is Jeff Fisher, head coach of the Tennessee Titans... has a brother playing baseball at Cal Poly SLO... a Human Biology major in Warren College... would like to pursue a career in professional baseball and a masters in physical therapy.
