Postseason Picture
With three regular season matches remaining, UCSD is third in the Nov. 2 NCAA West Region rankings, falling in line behind Cal State San Bernardino and BYU-Hawaii. Seattle Pacific is fourth, Sonoma State fifth, Hawaii Pacific sixth, Northwest Nazarene seventh, Hawaii-Hilo eighth, Alaska Anchorage ninth and Grand Canyon 10th. The regular season champions from the CCAA (Cal State San Bernardino), the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (not clinched) and the Pacific West Conference (BYU-Hawaii) earn automatic berths in the eight-team NCAA Championships West Regional, which will be held Nov. 17-20 on the campus of the top seed. The remaining five squads are chosen according to their regional ranking. The NCAA field will be announced at 7 p.m. Pacific on Nov. 13 at http://www.ncaasports.com.

Roxy One
Roxanne Brunsting had 17 assists on Nov. 4 vs. Sonoma State to put her over 1,000 for her career. She's just the second Triton in program history to finish a career with 1,000 assists and 1,000 digs. Teresa Ohta totaled a school-record 4,749 assists and added 1,084 digs between 2001-04.

Roxy Two
With 16 digs vs. Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 5, Roxanne Brunsting moved into second place on UCSD's career list. She currently has 1,534 digs to her name, 94 behind the school record of 1,628 set by Natalie Facchini (2004-07).

Ain't Life Grand?
A couple of other Tritons are closing in on the 1,000 mark in career statistical categories including Hillary Williamson (990 digs, 967 kills) and Katie Condon (955 kills). If Williamson eclipses the number in both categories, she'll become the second player in school history to do so. Stacy Dunsmore recorded 1,195 digs and 1,182 kills from 2001-04. Libero Janessa Werhane totaled 28 digs on Oct. 15 at Cal Poly Pomona to put the senior libero over 1,000 for her career. She's the seventh Triton to reach the mark in the history of the program.

Three's Company
When middle blocker Julia Freidenberg posted a team-high 10 kills vs. Sonoma State last week, she became just the third Triton to lead the team in kills in a single match this season. Up to that point, outside hitters Katie Condon and Hillary Williamson were the only two Tritons that had recorded team-high kill totals. Williamson has led UCSD in kills 16 times and Condon has led six times.

Randomness
Nationally, UCSD is ranked 4th in digs (19.47/set) and 27th in kills (13.56/set) ... Janessa Werhane is 28th in digs (5.21/set) ... In the CCAA, the Tritons are 1st in digs and 3rd in kills and blocks (2.09/set) ... Hillary Williamson is 3rd in kills (3.76/set) and points (4.28/set) ... Werhane is 2nd in digs and freshman Lauren Demos is 5th in blocks (0.91/set) among CCAA players ... Freshman Amber Hawthorne has recorded a double-double in four of her last five matches ... UCSD's current nine match win streak is its longest since starting the season 9-0 ... The Tritons' .269 attack percentage vs. Humboldt was its highest since hitting .271 against Cal State L.A. on Oct. 21 ... UCSD has been out aced just twice by an opponent this season ... Roxanne Brunsting's six blocks vs. Sonoma set a new career-high ... Four Tritons will be playing in their final regular season match Saturday including Roxanne Brunsting, Katie Condon, Janessa Werhane and Hillary Williamson.
