SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. - Gavin Lamming scored his first goal of the 2012 season as the UC San Diego men's soccer team earned a 1-1 draw at Cal State San Bernardino Sunday afternoon.

The Tritons moved to 3-2-1 overall on the season and 2-1-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) while Cal State San Bernardino sits at 1-0-5 overall and 1-0-3 in league play. The squads are tied for second in the CCAA South Division behind Cal State L.A. (3-1-0).

Lamming's goal came in the 23rd minute, putting UCSD up 1-0. Andisheh Bagheri chipped the ball inside and Lamming connected with a header from the right post.

UCSD held its lead until the 77:25 mark when Ricardo Velasco scored on a penalty kick to the right side, knotting the score and eventually taking the game to extra time.

The Tritons held a 9-4 shot advantage through the two overtime periods. Overall, UCSD out-shot CSUSB 22-14. Bagheri put four shots on the cage while Jacob Valadez had three and Lamming had two.
