The Triton trio made up a quarter of the 12-player first-team squad representing District 8, and now moves on to the Capital One Academic All-America ballot.
Callahan, a Coronado native, holds a 3.9 grade-point average in mathematics. The sophomore is also the current points leader on the team with 23 from eight goals and seven assists.
Johnson and Wilson are senior tri-captains who have each started all 84 games that UCSD has played since the 2009 season opener. Johnson, from Santa Rosa, has four goals and four assists for 12 total points from her left back position, while Wilson, a center back from Santa Ana, has produced a pair of goals offensively. The Tritons currently boast the 16th-ranked defense in the nation.
Johnson is an environmental systems major with a 3.4 GPA, while Wilson maintains a 3.62 average in communication.
Callahan and Johnson made the All-CCAA First Team earlier Thursday, with Wilson gaining a spot on the second team as the 2012 CCAA Most Valuable Defensive Player. Wilson is a three-time CCAA All-Academic honoree, with Callahan and Johnson picking up that award once apiece. This is the first all-district recognition for all three.
UCSD is in Carson for the 2012 CCAA Championship. The 13th-ranked Tritons, the third seed in the four-team tournament, face second-seeded and 25th-ranked Cal State Stanislaus at Toro Stadium on Friday, Nov. 2, at 1:30 p.m. Live video and live stats are available.
