ELITE COMPETITION
This year's Triton Invitational features over 1000 athletes, most of which compete on the Division I level, as well as a number of Olympians and world champions. In the women's discus, collegiate hammer record-holder and shot put world leader Maggie Ewen of Arizona State will compete against U.S. World Championships team member Valerie Allman of Stanford. In addition, the UC San Diego men's 4x100 relay will compete against New Mexico, Grand Canyon, CSUN and others, as the Tritons attempt to qualify for the NCAA Championships in a men's relay for the first time in program history.
