AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006: Decker earned All-CCAA honors and a CCAA Pitcher of the Week award in his first season at UCSD... began the season as a closer with saves against Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal Poly Pomona... pitched a complete-game at Cal Poly Pomona on Apr. 8, allowing one run and five hits... career-high nine strikeouts against Cal State Stanislaus... pitched at least seven innings in four starts... led the team with a 3.69 ERA.
