1999 - Muir - Mechanical Engineering


A four-year letter winner and captain of the Triton men’s tennis team, Yeh also owns an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UCSD and parlayed his diplomas into a position in Mechanical Research & Development with Seagate Technology in Minneapolis, MN.


A former chairperson of the Triton Athletes Council and winner of the Athletic Department’s Husar Family/TAA Award for campus and community service while an undergraduate, Yeh has been equally diverse in his activities since graduation. He was president of the UCSD Student Foundation which raised and donated funds for student scholarships and other campus initiatives and, in Minnesota, helped found the China AIDS Orphan Fund.


He still plays tennis, recently finishing second in Minnesota’s USTA team tennis competition, and is working towards an MBA at University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business. He is engaged to Beth Jansen who he met through a UCSD friend while in Minnesota. They are scheduled to be married next Sept. 4.
