The four-team invitational will take place at on Friday at the Cross Country Par Course on the UCSD campus.
The Triton women are coming off their best season ever at the NCAA Division II level, placing seventh at the 2005 NCAA D-II National Championships. Head coach Ted Van Arsdale’s squad also finished second at the NCAA D-II West Regional after claiming the 2005 CCAA Championship in San Francisco.

The Tritons also return sophomore Kevin Klein who competed as a freshman in 2004 before sitting out last season.
Additionally, five freshman join the team, four of which are from California while newcomer Mike Wright steps into the program out of Ponderosa High School in Rescue, Colorado.
