AS A JUNIOR IN 2008-09: One of four Triton players to start all 32 games last season… Ranked fourth on the team averaging 9.8 points per game… Was one of UCSD’s top three-point shooters, hitting 32 of her 92 attempts, 34.8%… Dished out 73 assists, the third-highest total on the squad… Led Triton guards and ranked fourth overall averaging just under four rebounds per contest… Her 56 steals were second only to Michelle Osiers’ 79… Scored in double figures in UCSD’s first five games of the season and finished with 10 points or more 17 times… Shot 6-of-10 from the field and 4-of-8 from behind the three-point arc en route to a career-high 21 points in UCSD’s 69-63 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on February 6… Her six field goals and four threes were also career bests… Had another big perfomance against the Toros in the first round of the NCAA Division II West Regional in Seattle, scoring 15 points and hitting the game-winning shot as time expired… Finished with 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting to help lead the Tritons to a 73-60 victory over Hawaii-Pacific on the second day of the Mt. McKinley Bank North Star Invitational in November… Hit all three of her attempts from behind the arc and finished with 13 points in the regular season finale at Cal State Stanislaus February 27… Hauled in a career-high eight rebounds four times during the season, including back-to-back games against Cal State San Bernardino and San Francisco State in February… Dished out a career-high five assists in consecutive games at Cal State Monterey Bay and San Francisco State in January… Had at least one three in 19 of the team’s 32 games on the season.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2007-08: Made a total of 34 appearances off the bench during her second season at UCSD… Averaged 2.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in 10.0 minutes per game… Led the team in three-point shooting at 54% (7-13)… Was a perfect 4-for-4 from the field on the way to a career-high 11 points in the Tritons’ loss to Chico State in the CCAA Tournament Championship game… She also set career marks for field goals made and attempted in that contest… Pulled down a career-best four rebounds on three occasions, including UCSD’s home win over Cal State Monterey Bay on January 26… Made all three of her shots, two of which came from behind the three-point arc, and finished with eight points at Cal State L.A. January 12.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2006-07: Appeared in eight games for the Tritons, playing a total of 28 minutes... Scored six points and grabbed five rebounds on the year.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2006 graduate of Avon Lake High School in Avon Lake, Ohio... Lettered in soccer, basketball, and track and field... Played basketball for coach Amy Manco... Earned all-district honors twice in soccer and once apiece in basketball and track... Was a state qualifier in track and had personal bests of 12.5 seconds in the 100 meters and 58.8 seconds in the 400 meters... Scored 17 goals and had 12 assists as a senior in soccer... Was her class representative on the student council and was the Spanish Club president.
PERSONAL: Born March 17, 1988... Parents are Stephen and Anna Ilg... Is the second youngest of eight children... Six older siblings are named Timothy, Christopher, Elizabeth, Stephen, Rebecca and Angela, while her little sister is named Rachel... Roots for the Cleveland Cavliers and her favorite athlete, LeBron James… Is also a big fan of all UCSD teams… Her favorite movie is Elf… Shooting the last-second jumper to beat Cal State Dominguez Hills and advance in the Regionals last season is her most memorable moment in sports… When she’s not playing basketball, she enjoys playing sports outside, laying out, shopping or hanging out with friends… Is a Biochemistry major at Earl Warren College… Aspires to work in medicine after graduating from UCSD.
