AS A JUNIOR IN 2007-08: Appeared in all 30 games for the Tritons and was one of two players to start every contest... Averaged a team-high 31 minutes per game and ranked fourth in scoring, averaging 9.4 points... Led UCSD with 56 three-pointers and shot 42.4% from behind the arc, which ranked third... Finished the year second on the team with 87 assists and 32 steals... Scored 10 or more points on 14 occasions during the season, including seven straight games from January 5-26... Racked up a season-high 18 points in the 111-102 overtime loss at Cal State L.A. on January 12... Scored 16 points to help guide the Tritons to a big 76-65 upset win over No. 5 Cal State San Bernardino a week later, hitting four of his five shots from downtown... Dished out a career-best 10 assists in UCSD’s 82-61 rout of Sonoma State on February 9... That stood as the most assists in a game by a Triton all season... Set a new personal best with five rebounds at Cal State Dominguez Hills on January 11, helping the team to a 78-74 overtime victory over the Toros... Shot better than 50% from the field in 12 games, including an impressive 4-for-5 performance in the win over the Coyotes January 19... Scored 14 points, dished out two assists, and recorded three steals in the Tritons win over Cal State Stanislaus November 30... Tallied 12 points, four helpers, and two steals in UCSD’s 55-52 home win over Cal Poly Pomona January 18... Finished with 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting in the road meeting with the Warriors on February 2...Put in half of his 14 points at Humboldt State on February 8 at the free throw line, sinking 7-of-10 attempts. 

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07: Played in all 27 games for the Tritons, starting 24, during his first year at UCSD... Started and played 26 minutes in his UCSD debut at San Diego State on November 15... Scored six points and pulled down three rebounds in the loss to the Aztecs... Started and played a career-high 46 minutes in the double overtime loss at Grand Canyon on November 20... Scored six points and dished out four assists in the loss to GCU... Scored four points, pulled down two rebounds, dished out two assists and had two steals in 35 minutes of play during the 62-52 victory over 4th-ranked Seattle Pacific on November 24... Finished with 12 points and seven assists in the 61-60 victory over 2nd-ranked Montevallo on November 25... Scored nine points and dished out five assists in the 76-72 home win over Cal State Stanislaus on December 2... Had six points, two boards and five assists in the 53-50 loss at home to Hawaii Pacific... Had five points and six assists in the 69-63 upset victory over No. 12 CSU San Bernardino on January 19... netted a then-career-high 15 points and six assists in the 60-54 loss to No. 24 Cal Poly Pomona on January 20... Set a new program and career-high with 55 minutes played, scoring 23 points with six assists and three rebounds in leading UCSD to a 116-103 quadruple-overtime win at Cal State Stanislaus on February 2... Sent the game into a third overtime period on a jumper with two seconds left in the second OT... Provided even more dramatics at home against Cal State Dominguez Hills on February 6, coming up with a steal on the Toros final possession of a tie game, driving the length of the court, drawing a foul, and hitting the game-winning free-throw to lead UCSD to the 45-44 victory... Tallied double-digit points in three straight games from February 6 through February 10 and again from February 17 through February 24... Scored 15 points on 4-of-5 three-point shooting and added eight assists in the Triton’s Spirit Night win over Sonoma State... Scored 19 points with six assists, three rebounds, and two steals on February 17... Led the Tritons on the season with 3.8 assists per game.

UCLA: Transfered to UC San Diego after spending one season playing for coach Ben Howland at UCLA... Was a member of the Bruin team that went 32-7 and advanced to the NCAA National Championship... That team won the Pac-10 regular season title and the Pac-10 Tournament crown... Appeared in a total of seven contests for UCLA as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of El Toro High School in Lake Forest, Calif... helped team to a 30-6 record, finishing as the CIF Division 1-AA Runners-Up... Averaged 15.0 points, 6.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals as a senior... The team captured three-straight South Coast League Championships.

PERSONAL: Born April 7, 1987... Parents are Kenny and Min Kim... Has an brother named Ryan... is a Psychology major at Warren College... enjoys going to the beach, watching college football, hanging out with friends and listening to music in his spare time.
