AS A JUNIOR IN 2016-17
San Diego Hall of Champions Star of the Month for July (8/1) following her efforts at 2016 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials ... Competed in five of 11 meets, including third PCSC Championships ... Made season debut during UCSD Invitational (1/2), swimming 100 breast (1:51.41) and 200 IM (3:35.39) ... Also competed next day vs. Rice, SDSU and SJSU (1/3) in 100 back (1:42.46) and 100 free (1:34.03) ... Swam in final two home duals vs. California Baptist (1/21) and University of San Diego (1/28), ahead of PCSC meet.

PARALYMPIC GAMES
Swam for Team USA at 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Sept. 7-18, in 100-meter back, 200 IM, 400 free and 100 breast at Olympic Aquatics Stadium (preview/recap) ... Made Paralympics debut as first Team USA swimmer in water on first day in S6 100 back (9/8), placing fifth out of six in the second of two heats (Lane 7), and ninth out of 11 in all to narrowly miss the evening final, lowering her own American record and seed time (11th/11) of 1:38.67 by almost a second and a half to 1:37.22 ... Hit another personal record (3:21.10) in SM6 200 IM (9/12), finishing fifth of six in first heat (Lane 2), and ninth overall out of 13 (10th seed, 3:23.00) ... Placed sixth (6:23.45) of seven in first heat (Lane 1) of S6 400 free (9/13), and 13th overall out of 14 (14th seed, 6:20.56) ... Made first final in best event, SB6 100 breast (9/15), placing third (1:44.35) of six in first heat (Lane 3) for a third personal record in four swims, by more than a full second (1:45.69), good enough for sixth overall of 12 (sixth seed) to make evening final ... In that race, held her seed in sixth (1:44.95).

U.S. PARALYMPIC TEAM TRIALS
Swam at 2016 U.S. Paralympic Team Trials in Charlotte, N.C. (6/30-7/2) ... On July 3, was named to her first U.S. Paralympic Swimming Team for the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games ... At Trials, broke her own American record in the S6 classification of the 100-meter back in her last of six swims over the three-day meet (7/2), earning a gold medal in winning the final in 1:38.67 ... Time was over two seconds faster than prelims (1:40.98) ... Also placed second in her class in 100 breast (6/30; 1:47.57 prelims, 1:49.40 finals) and 200 IM (7/2; 3:28.40 prelims, 3:24.15 finals) ... Previously competed in Trials for 2008 Beijing Games and 2012 London Games ... Alternate for London Games, and attended as a spectator.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015-16
San Diego Hall of Champions Star of the Month for August (9/2), recognizing her four-medal performance for Team USA at 2015 Parapan American Games ... Participated in two of 10 meets due to injury, swimming in opener vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (10/31) before returning for her second PCSC Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014-15
Made college debut in season opener vs. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (10/25) ... Competed in six of 10 meets, in the 100 free, 200 free, 100 breast and 200 IM ... Swam top times in the 100 free, 100 breast and 200 IM at her first PCSC Championships.

INTERNATIONAL
U.S. Paralympics Swimming competitor (bio) since 2010 in the S6, SB6 and SM6 classifications ... Has participated in two Parapan American Games, in Guadalajara, Mexico, in November of 2011, and in Toronto, Canada, in August of 2015 ... Totaled four medals (two gold, silver, bronze) in Toronto ... Won pair of golds on same day (8/11) in 100-meter breast (1:45.69) and 200 IM (3:23.00), with both marks new Parapan Am Games records ... Anchored mixed 4x50 free relay (20 points) to silver, grabbed bronze in 100 back, and also placed fifth in 400 free ... Swam to gold medal in 100 breast and silver in 200 IM in 2011 ... Won bronze as breaststroke leg of 4x50 medley relay (20 points) at 2013 International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Swimming World Championships in Montreal, Canada ...
