AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE IN 2013
Represented UCSD in the 3000 steeplechase at the CCAA Championships, finishing in sixth place with a time of 9:57.10 ... Ran a season best in the 3000 steeple at the Cal-Nevada Championships with a time of 8:38.13 ... At the UCSD Triangular meet he had a season-high finish of fourth place in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:03.04 and he also went a personal best in the 800 meters with a time of 1:58.91.

Posted a third-place finish at the San Diego Collegiate Challenge in the men's 800-meter run with a final time of 2 minutes, 0.41 seconds ... Finished the All-Cal Challenge 1,500 in 13th place with a time of 4:06.46 ... Competed in the 1,500 at the Cal-Nevada Championships, where he finished 14th with a time of 4:01.26 ... Took 12th in the 800 at the Soka Peace Invitational (1:58.70) ... Finished the Triton Invitational with a time of 4:06.25 in the 1,500.
