CCAA All-Academic ... CCAA Spring All-Academic ... Made 14 appearances, with nine starts, second on the team ... Led UCSD with 68.2 innings pitched and 48 strikeouts ... First start of season came in nightcap of doubleheader vs. The Master's (2/6) on Opening Day, leaving with a 2-1 lead after five full frames (2 H, R, BB, 4 SO) and settling for the no decision in extra-inning win ... Pitched at least five full innings in first seven starts, and went seven, his long for the program, in three consecutive starts from Feb. 12-26 ... Tossed the only two complete games by a Triton, the first in the seven-inning doubleheader nightcap vs. UTPB (2/12), allowing three runs, two of them earned, six hits and one walk in 5-3 win, while striking out five ... Second complete game came in final appearance at Triton Ballpark on Senior Day, the seven-inning nightcap vs. Cal State San Marcos (5/7), as he punched out final batter to give him a career-best seven strikeouts on day (5 H, 2 R, 2 BB) and punctuate a 7-2 victory ... Went seven more in home starts vs. Concordia (2/19) and CSUSB (2/26) ... Against CUI, scattered two hits while striking out six, his UCSD best, and exited a scoreless contest that eventually resulted in a 5-0 loss ... Retired the first 14 batters he faced before a two-out hit-by-pitch in the fifth, and had a no-hitter through 5.1 ahead of a bunt single ... Last appearance in Triton uniform came vs. Chico State (5/12) at CCAA Championship, as his 2.1 shutout innings in relief (3 H, BB) helped pave way for come-from-behind, walk-off 7-6 triumph to keep season alive.

Arguably best outing came in final appearance of season, when he threw 5.2 frames (5 H, R, 0 BB, 4 K) to help move UCSD into the final of the NCAA West Regional with 5-3 victory vs. Azusa Pacific (5/18) ... Picked up second win with 5.0 shutout innings (3 H, 0 BB, 5 K) to open doubleheader vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills (2/21) ... Tossed five more shutout frames (2 H, BB, 2 K) to cap doubleheader sweep at Cal State Stanislaus (4/18) ... Twice went a season-long 6.0 innings, both wins, at Cal State East Bay (2/28) and at Sonoma State (3/28) ... Struck out a season-best five three times ... Attended Cypress College for three years from 2010-13 and was a member of the baseball team for three seasons, redshirting in 2011 due to injury ... Aided Chargers to the 2013 CCCAA state title, beating future Triton teammate Erik Lewis' Fullerton College in the championship game, 10-3 ... Tossed complete-game shutout (6 H, 4 BB, 4 SO) in spot start to win super regional ... Pat Doyle Award in 2013, compiling a 1.42 ERA over 31.2 innings ... Managed just 11.1 frames coming off of injury in 2012.
Recovered from late-season surgery in time to represent his native country of Israel during the 2014 summer, at the European Baseball Championship C-Pool tournament in Ljubljana, Slovenia, July 29-Aug. 2 ... Made one appearance, drawing the starting assignment in the final vs. host Slovenia (8/2) and tossing a seven-inning shutout in a run-rule-shortened, 14-0 victory ... Allowed just one hit and one walk in facing one batter over the minimum, while striking out nine (box score) ... Retired 16 straight after a double to open the game ... Teammates with former UCSD closer (2004-05) Shlomo Lipetz as Israel swept through the tournament at 5-0, out-scoring opponents, 53-7, with a pair of shutouts from Leichman and Lipetz ... Also pitched for Israel during the 2015 summer ... Was on Team Israel during qualifying for the 2013 World Baseball Classic, but did not appear in a game ...
