AS A JUNIOR IN 2010: Competed as UCSD's No. 1 singles player during his junior campaign, tallying a 9-6 record... finished the spring season at No. 31 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II singles rankings... earned selection as ITA D-II West Region Player to Watch... he helped the Tritons to a strong start in 2010 by knocking off two nationally-ranked opponents in a span of
24 hours at the Paseo Tournament held in Phoenix... on Feb. 12, he defeated No. 10 Rong Ma of BYU-Hawaii, 6-4, 2-6, 11-9 and then left the
same courts victorious the next day with a 6-4, 6-4 win against No. 24
Yair Banuelos of Western New Mexico... also posted a team-high 13 doubles wins while being paired with Jake Fellow earlier in the year and Chapman Chan toward the second half of the season... ended the school year on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll at the Gold Level (includes GPAs above 3.500)... named the team's "Most Valuable Player" at the conclusion of the 2010 season.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009: Played entirely doubles in his sophomore season, going 15-5... started season undefeated in 10 doubles matches... went 5-0 at the No. 2 position and 10-5 at the No. 1 position, all while playing with teammate Kazumi Negishi... concluded his sophomore year on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll at the Gold Level.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008: In his first year donning a Triton uniform he compiled a 1-1 singles and 10-2 doubles record... individually posted a 1-0 record at No. 5 and 0-1 at No. 6... with partner Bijan Moallemi, posted a record of 10-2 at No. 2 on the doubles ladder... earned a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll at the Gold Level.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Dana Hills High School in Dana Point, Calif... played tennis for coach Dana Boseman... member of 2006 CIF Championship tennis team.
