UC San Diego Men and Women Fencing teams are looking to great success and a bright future as Heidi Runyan continues for the fourth season at the head coaching position for the 2007-2008 season. After two years as an UCSD assistant coach, she will be bringing over 26 years of fencing experience and several years of USFA coaching to the team. Her goals are to continue the Triton’s formidable performance in the Intercollegiate Fencing Conference of Southern California along with producing strong results at the NCAA regional and national levels.

During her competitive career, Heidi was a nationally ranked senior fencer in both women’s sabre and foil.
