A 2010 graduate of Camberwell Grammar School in Canterbury, Victoria, Australia ... Accomplished open-water swimmer ... At the 2009 Australian Open Water Championships, won the 16 Year Olds 10-kilometer race and placed third in the five-kilometer race ... Placed third in the 17/18 Year Olds 10K races at the same meet in both 2010 and 2011 ... Also third in the 5K in 2011 ... Finished 11th in the men's 5K at the 2012 USA Swimming Open Water National Championships at Miromar Lake in Fort Myers, Fla.
